Individual One on One Courses

We enable you to choose for yourself the number of hours per week (we recommend 20 to 40 hours for your individual courses, depending on a desired intensity level). You are totally free to determine the course length. The program of the course will be adapted to suit your personal preferences and goals - from Russian alphabet to Dostoyevsky or trade negotiations with Russian partners!

Advantages of an Individual Russian course:

• You can choose the number of hours per week yourself;
• You are free to determine the total length of the course - from one week to many months;
• You can start your course at any desired date;
• The course's content will be carefully adapted to suit your individual preferences and goals;
• Lessons can be conducted in your house (host family, guest house, apartment);
• You will be able to appoint the time for the lessons yourself.
• And finally, you'll be able to take part in all activities of the School. Taking up an individual course is an excellent way to study language.
• An academic hour lasts 45 minutes. One academic hour costs €9.50.

Example of a 4 weeks individual course (please note that can change & shape it as you wish)

Course Price: €1190 Including

• 20 hours of individual tuition a week;
• Accommodation in a host family, meals excluded; or in the company-owned apartment, single room.
• Service kit (administrative fee, state registration, airport transfers both ways, full study kit, excursions, etc).
  

Small Group Russian Courses

If you prefer to learn Russian in a group and to receive maximum personal attention from your teacher of Russian at the same time, you may choose to take a course in a mini-group of 2-6 students. Minimal length is two weeks, all levels, minimal age - 16 years. Standard intensity of the course is 20 hours a week.
Note: One-week course price (with 20 hours of tuition) is €130.

Example of a 2 week Course: Course Price: €520 Including:

• 20 hours of mini-group tuition a week;
• Accommodation in a host family or in the company-owned apartment in a comfortable separate room, meals excluded;
• Registration fee, invitation, registration in Kaliningrad, transfers, excursions.

NB: The same course with the accommodation in the host family with half board costs Euro 570,-.

Live and Study in a Teachers House

Why not choose living in a teacher's apartment and taking individual classes as a worthy alternative to other Russian language courses? The duration of lessons, their contents, etc. are determined together by the student and the teacher. High quality tuition and the maximum learning output during individual classes are guaranteed by the School. By choosing Live and Study option, you take part in all activities organized by PRIVET!

Example of a One-week tour "Introduction to Kaliningrad Region" for student groups that just want to visit this interesting region without learning Russian (calculated for an organized group of 10 students)

• 7 nights in a nice guest house, double rooms;
• 7 events (city tour, excursion on the coast, excursion to the Curonian Spit, Amber Mining, theatre/orchestra visits, visits to regional enterprises upon your wish);

Russian Summer Schools and Special 750th Anniversary Courses

750th anniversary of Konigsberg-Kaliningrad 26 June, 10 July, 2-weeks

In 2005 we are organising a 2-week course "750th anniversary of Konigsberg-Kaliningrad" from 26 June to 10 July, 2005. Traditionally on the first weekend of July Kaliningrad celebrates the Day of the City. In the year 2005 this holiday will be very special. The citizens of Kaliningrad and the guests of our city will celebrate the 750th anniversary of Konigsberg-Kaliningrad. There will be many activities during the hole year: openings of new monuments and buildings, regattas, festivals, concerts, fireworks. The culmination will be on the first weekend of July. It is a really great event for our city and we would like to celebrate it with you. Russian Language School PRIVET! offers you a 2-weeks course "750 anniversary of Konigsberg-Kaliningrad": from the 26th of June till the 10th of July. This course will be unusual for our School. The tuition load will be decrease down to 3 hours per day. The classes will start later then usual - at 10 a.m.. The stuff of the school is preparing a program which will let you to visit as many festive activities as possible.

Course Price: €470 Including:

• 15 hours of tuition per week (three hours every morning Monday to Friday, starting at 10am);
• accommodation with a host family in Kaliningrad or in the company owned apartment in the separate room, meals excluded;
• invitation, registration in Kaliningrad, transfers;
• Additional excursions (Kaliningrad, Svetlogorsk, the Curonian Spit, Baltiysk etc.). Additional programs concerned with the city anniversary.

Summer School I: July, 10 - July, 31 (3 weeks in Kaliningrad)

Course Price: €720 Including:

• 20 hours of tuition per week (four hours every morning Monday to Friday);
• accommodation with a host family in Kaliningrad or in the company owned apartment in the separate room, meals excluded;
• invitation, registration in Kaliningrad, transfers;
• Additional excursions (Kaliningrad, Svetlogorsk, the Curonian Spit, Baltiysk etc.)

Summer School II: July,31 - August, 21 (3 weeks in Kaliningrad)

Course Price: €720 Including:

• 20 hours of tuition per week (four hours every morning Monday to Friday);
• accommodation with a host family in Kaliningrad or in the company owned apartment in the separate room, meals excluded;
• invitation, registration in Kaliningrad, transfers;
• Additional excursions (Kaliningrad, Svetlogorsk, the Curonian Spit, Baltiysk etc.)

Combined Summer Schools I and II: Learn Russian over eight weeks in the summer of 2004

Stay in Kaliningrad for eight weeks in the summer of 2005. You will improve your language enormously by taking part in both Summer schools of Russian in 2004. The price of €1340 is offered for this option. Would you like to advance in your Russian and to have wonderful vacations at the same time? Then Summer School of the Russian Language is exactly what you need!

You can combine your tuition in the Summer Schools with any number of hours of individual lessons. It's up to you to decide how many additional hours you want to take. Price - 9.50€ per hour.

Russian courses combined with vacations and/or resort program

There are wonderful beaches, famous sand dunes, and two well-known resorts, Svetlogorsk and in Zelenogradsk, in the Kaliningrad Region. You can stay there all year round. Have great vacations, go on resort and recreation program and improve your Russian simultaneously!

We will take pains to arrange everything for you: from invitation for your Russian visa to accommodation and transfers. All levels of the Russian language are available: from the Russian alphabet to the advanced topics.
