Restaurant Vocabulary: Lesson Two

So, you are in France and
very, very hungry
.maybe this vocab. will help.
Le serveur/la serveuse: Vous
avez choisi?= Have you decided?
(Waiter) (Waitress) Vous desirez? = What would you like?
Que prenez-vous? = What are you
having?
Qu'est-ce que ie vous sers = What can I get you?
You reply: Je voudrais/ J'aimerais = I would like...
Je vais prends/ Je prends = I'll have...
Combien coûnte = How much does ... cost?
Je suis = I am... allérgigue à = allergic to
Diabétique = diabetic
Vegetarian / vegetarienne = vegetarian
Je ne peux pas mange = I can't eat...
Here is a short list of foods
remember that all things
and food in French are either masculine (Le) or feminine (La).
If the object is pleural then an "s" is added:
la contiture = jam
le croissant = croissant
les frites = fries, chips
un uf/ des ufs = egg, eggs
le pain = bread
les pâtes = pasta
le riz = rice
le sel = salt
le sucre = sugar
