Q. What do I need to bring?
You are given a comprehensive list when you book from each of the language schools.

Q. What other money do I need to bring?
Carefully check what the school offers. At WBLS's we only try and use schools that have program that is inclusive of language classes, accommodation, main meals, and a good list of activities INCLUDED in the price that make that school so special. Really you should just need going out money, and for buying presents! Some countries cost more to live in than others - so check out the page on cost of living and currency for each school. You can also email us - and we can give you a reasonable idea of which countries are cheaper to be a student in!

Q. Does my ATM card work ?
Yes, in most cases if you have a card that has mastro, Cirus or similar on the back there will be partner banks in the host country. you may need to try a few, and its always good to get a list of partner banks form you bank at home

Q. Is the country Dangerous?
Yes. There are dangerous places to be found in the cities and dangerous things to be found outdoors, as anywhere else in the world (including your country). The reality is that the schools are very professional, and WANT to keep you safe. Newspapers, TV and guides seem to highlight the dangers of every country. However, they are not really that bad and most people live a very safe and happy life there.

Q. What is the climate going to be like?
In each of the information about the schools, you should check out the pages both about highlights of the country, and also the links page. Another good source is the Lonely Planet. Again, you can email us and we can give you a good idea as well.

Q. I read the Lonely Planet and it had a huge list of all the diseases I can catch!?
Yes, but onlyif you are really unlucky.Have a look at your countries Lonely Planet - there is a huge list there as well! One of the advantages in going with a WBLS school is that the they will take very good care of you - and your health!

Q.Will there be someone to meet me at the airport.
Yes. In all cases WBLS have a pick up from the local airport to make sure you find the right location safely. Details on this will be given in you information package.

Q. Can I play local Sport?
Yes. The locals are always encouraging us to get involved, generally we are bigger and stronger and sometimes much more skillful than they are so they try to recruit us.
