Playa Colorada (‘Colored Beach’) is a small beach pueblo just half an hour from the city of Puerto La Cruz, yet it is a world apart! At ‘Playa’ you will see why it is one of the most photographed beaches in Venezuela (and its photo in many of the guide books). This golden sanded beach is a delight! Glazing out into the crystal clear waters you will see some of the 32 islands the make up Mochima National park. It is an paradise for travelers and adventurers a like. A destination to relax, soak in the sun, or take a dip in the warm Caribbean waters.
