Malaga School

DEBLA was founded in 1979. The school and the residence are situated in the same building at the bottom of the Gibralfaro mountain, one of the greenest areas of Málaga with lovely views on the Mediterranean. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the historic centre and 5 minutes to the beach.

Our philosophy

Our aim is to provide you with high quality teaching and facilities to enjoy your stay in Málaga. After your stay in our school, you will not only be able to speak Spanish, but you will also have got to know a part of Andalusia. Our experience, our beautiful school building with its sunny class rooms, the garden and the terraces with views of the Mediterranean, the surroundings and first of all, the personal treatment of each student create that very special family atmosphere that we are known for.

Teaching

We consider that the most important aspect of our school are the teachers, our up-to-date material and teaching method. All our teachers have a university degree and are lively and interested in motivating their students. Our teachers are able to adapt themselves to our students´ needs as our groups are always small. Of course we accept students of all ages and all levels from total beginners to advanced (A1 – C2).

From the first day, you are encouraged to speak Spanish as our teaching method is essentially communicative which results in an excellent progress. The course starts with a placement test to ensure that you are in the right class from the very beginning.
