La Herradura is a small, quiet village situated in a wonderful bay between two cliffy mountains, Punta de la Mona, and Cerro Gordo.

Previously the village has been a fishing hamlet, but today it has grown and developed becoming a very attractive residential area for the Spanish to live and learn.

The long beach offers numerous activities such as various aquatic sports, paragliding, tennis and also other mountain sport all year round, the richness at the bottom of the sea has La Herradura a perfect place for diving.

La Herradura has many “Chiringuitos” (typical beach restaurants) where you can taste the gastronomic specialities of the zone.
