Granada is a must visit location of Spain. Millions each year come to taste this historic city, and to visit its many marvelous sites like the Alhambra, Albayzin, Cathderal and caves of Sacromonte. Granada is in south-east Andalsia, and located just 55km from the Costa Tropical. Yet it has its own very large ski field (the southernmost ski resort in Europe). The World Skiing Championships were held here in 1996. The area central for many other don’t miss locations in southern Spain such as the Alpujarras, Cazorla Natural Park, Seville, Beda, Cordoba, and Baeza. Granada is extremely geographically diverse, with its deserts and snow, and seas and mountains, its magical light and its Moorish nights. Granada has been, and still is, a melting-pot of cultures. Manyu of the grat cutures have left their mark on the city. Arabic and Roman, Andalusian and Romany, universal and Hispanic.
