In Bocas, the food, architecture, and language are unique, and differ from the  parts of the country. This is due to the heavy Caribbean influence. You work on ‘Caribbean time’ here! With a slow and relaxed pace. The are is a  national marine park as such there is  protection of  mangroves, reefs and many species of Caribbean wildlife.
