The school is located in Taupo which is in the centre of the North Island. Surrouding us is a region of tussocklands and snow capped mountains, fast moving mountain streams which flow into deep blue and emerald lakes with sacred islands and pumice white beaches and native forests which teem with the myriad of calls of native birds. There are also steaming hot volcanic cliffs, bubbling mudpools, and scoria plains laze in volcanic valleys and rolling farmlands. Hard to believe that so much scenic diversity can be found in such a small area! Taupo township is situated on the northern shores of New Zealand's largest lake - famous for its kayaking and river rafting, geothermal areas and trout fishing. It is close to NZ's largest ski and snowboarding resorts at Whakapapa & Turoa at Tongariro National Park. It is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Taupo city is safe, friendly and an easy place for students to adapt to an English-speaking way of life.Best Time to come Taupo is a great destination any time of the year.
