Queenstown is a place for all seasons being surrounded by six fantastic ski areas which offer a superb winter experience and it is also located on the shore of Lake Whakitipu a well known summer holiday destination.  There is a vibrant town centre and a wide range of fun activities off the slopes. The skiing and riding is top notch, and Olympic ski and snowboard teams are regular visitors here.

There's even fun to be had off the slopes with walking trails, superb shopping, day spas, over 150 restaurants and bars, award winning vineyards and a host of adventure sports, including: Bungy jumpimg, sky diving, climbimg mountains, skiing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, to name just a few.

Best Time to go

New Zealand has four distinct seasons with each one offering a different experience .  This makes any time a good time to visit!  In the summer there are the beaches and lakes to visit and in the winter you get the chance to ski and snow board.  Christchurch in spring and summer is a visual treat with its beautiful gardens,  it is not known as “the garden city” for nothing and Queenstown in autumn is a rich tapestry of autumnal colours as the trees become a fiery mix of red, bronze and gold.
