Historically Sicily has al been the center of the Mediterranean history. Every major civilization that wanted to  control Europe  has had to ‘own’ Sicily. There are few other places in the world which have been impacted by as great a number of civilizations. Everyone from  the Sicani, Sicilians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, the Normans, Spaniards, have all come and gone from Sicily. They leave a legacy of rich history and culture in this melting pot. The result… a vibrant Sicilian culture.

Taormina is the most beautiful town in Sicily. Situated on an hilltop, overlooking the crystal Mediterranean waters of the Ionian Sea, this hilltop town full of history and culture. In fact Taormina is famous for its beauty, its incredible heritage in history, archaeology and architecture, For over 2500 years. Taormina has shared its spirit with travelers from many distant lands.

Best Time to Go

The busiest time of the year is from May to September (summer season). The weather is warm and sunny.  Some students prefer the quieter winter and spring months (from November to April) when fewer students are in the school and fewer travelers are in Taormina.
