For over a hundred year Berlin has one of the most influential centres in European, and indeed the worlds politics, culture and science. Berlin is a major tourist destination. It is home to some of the world's most prominent universities, research faculties, theaters, and museums.

Looking over Berlin Wall today you can hardly guess its former history and meaning. 20 Years ago this colorfully painted concrete wall divided the two German states and, almost the entire world. But since the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, Berlin is a  rapidly changing metropolis that enjoys an international reputation for its vibrant nightlife,festivals, contemporary architecture, and avant-garde arts. Being home to people from over 180 nations, Berlin is a magnet for individuals who are attracted by its liberal lifestyle, urban eclecticism, and artistic freedom.

Berlin has excellent sighseeing. You can hope on a sightseeing tour right away – for only 2 Euro! Alexanderplatz is only a few minutes away. After the TV Tower – the Fernsehturm – you will see the Berlin Town Hall and the famous Museum Island. Catch a glimpse of the Berlin Cathedral, the State Opera House and Humboldt University… And on we go… Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, the House of Cultures. Next Stop will be Tiergarten and Bellevue Castle – seat of the German president – and the Victory Column. Zoo Train Station is the last stop.
