This course is located in the small German town of Ellwangen (pop. 25,000).  It is an idyllic setting nestled in a scenic landscape surrounded by countless lakes. Ellwangen is filled with impressive buildings representing various historical styles representing over 1200 years of history. The tiny winding alleys and picturesque corners of the old city center combine with charming plazas and countless street cafés. Ellwangen beckons visitors to wander, discover, linger, and taste German culture and history.

Course description:

Our German school in Ellwangen offers you a three week course of 25 lessons per week for individuals aged 50 and over to learn the German language and experiencing the culture.
German classes take place in small groups of 5 - 10 students in the morning. The afternoons and weekends are used for numerous excursions and visits to noteworthy cultural sites and other places of interest. You will be able to make immediate use of what they have learned and the ability to communicate in German remains a priority.

Accommodation:

Our program is housed at the Schönenberg House Conference Center. This is a well-maintained facility with modern appointments providing the perfect setting for language instruction for our target group. The House is located at an idyllic spot on a hill and offers a superb view of the city, which can easily be reached on foot. Program participants may choose from rooms with either one or two beds. Each room has private shower and toilet facilities.
