The city of Saskatoon is a lovely, green city of 200,000 situated on the banks of the Saskatchewan river.  It has been selected as the best city in Canada in which to live.  Saskatoon receives the most sunshine of any city in Canada.  As a university city, it is open friendly, and multicultural. We have a large population of young people.

According to the book, "Places Rated Almanac: the Best Places to Live in the United States and Canada", Saskatoon is the Best Small City in Canada and number 10 for all of North America. The International Coordinator, ESL teachers, school counselors, and teacher guardian monitor support students through personal and academic counseling. Our schools are designed with bright, comfortable learning environments and modern teaching facilities with the latest in equipment. Each has a distinctive, welcoming atmosphere and spacious designs enhanced by natural lighting.  Science and computer labs employ the latest in technological resources.  Large, multipurpose theatres house the performing arts.  Resource centres, practical arts labs, and fine arts wings are state-of-the-art educational facilities.  Large gymnasia are equipped with fully outfitted weight rooms.  Schools are located in new neighborhoods with many amenities. The University of Saskatchewan is very close. It has 18,000 full-time students.

We begin our school year at the beginning of September and finish at the end of June.  There is a two week holiday at Christmas and a 10 day break at Easter.  Our school day begins at 8:30 and finishes at 3:15.  A large variety of free extracurricular activities take place after school.  Our school year is broken down into two semesters the second of which begins in February.  We accept students throughout the school year.
